Zener Diode Series Circuit

Can anyone show me and explain me briefly how more than 2 diodes conduct in series circuit & in parallel ckt?

Can anyone show me and explain me briefly how more than 2 diodes conduct in series circuit & in parallel ckt (circuit) ?

Any url , tutorial ?

Do, the diodes of any kind (L.E.D, Zener Diodes, Rectifying Diodes etc.) , transistors of any kind, Resistors of any kind, Capacitors of any kind & inductors of any kind conduct / work in both ac & dc supplies ? And, without any difference means no change in their operation and output for all of these ?

thanks

Considering just ordinary signal or rectifier diodes first.

Two diodes (or more) forward biased, act just like one diode except the forward voltage is doubled (as there is two voltages in series). So the typical 0.7 volts forward drop becomes 1.4 volts.

In the reverse direction, in theory, the maximum reverse voltage is doubled. So a 400 volt diode becomes an 800 volt diode. But in practice this would require that the leakage and capacitance be matched. Can be done, but you have to be careful.

The above assumes they are connected in the same direction, otherwise nothing works at all, you just have a reverse biased diode in either direction.

In parallel, two diodes or more, assuming they are in the same direction, will, in theory, give you the same results as one diode with twice the current handling capacity and the same reverse voltage rating of one. In practice, the diodes would have to be matched to get twice the current capacity.

Reverse one of the diodes, and you have "back to back diodes" which look like a forward diode in either direction. Sometimes used for a voltage clamp, as it does not allow voltage above 0.6 volts of either polarity.

Your last paragraph would require more space than I have here. If you have any specific questions, email me.

A circuit in alternating current?

A circuit in alternating current?
what it is the formula for a circuit to : the circuit is in alternating current
the first resistance is of 47 omhs, later has two to zener in series, one in opposite sense of the other and the voltage limitor resistance is of 33 omhs, . please i need the fornula

During the positive half-cycle, the diode of above leads and the one of down this in the zone to zener; therefore the exit is trimmed. The level will be the one of the tension to zener (diode in rupture) more 0' 7 v ((Diode with direct polarization). When this the negative half-cycle, happens on the contrary with which an almost square signal is obtained. Whichever greater it is the sinuidal wave of entrance, more perfect will be the square wave of exit
its polarization is always in inverse
