Does opening a window negate the effects of an air filter?
I bought an expensive RabbitAir air filter for my bedroom and I'm wondering if having my window open or closed makes a shred of difference. Should I keep fresh air cycling in or does it purify the air so I don't need to?
Opening your window is ok if you take care to do it at the right times. When it is raining is the best time for dust-free air and when their is no wind is second best. Keep it shut when mowers are whining and traffic is heavy. Check your room for air infiltration with smoke from an inscence stick around closed doors and windows In your shut-tight room to identify leakage into your room.

I downloaded the Ac3 filter, because it said it was missing an audio codec, and that was the one it recommended. When I unzipped it, it went to the desktop. where is it suppose to go? I put it in the windows media player folder, but it didn't work. can you please help?
Try putting it in C:WINDOWSsystem32. I know there are other codecs there.
