Are car cigarette lighter power adapters for the u.s. compatible with the same in korea in terms of voltage/wa
i have a pda device that has a cigarette adapter and i would like to take it to korea and use the power adapter in my friends car so that i don't have to carry so many power cords... is this safe and proper? is the voltage and watts the same?
if your Friends car is 12 volt (as most in the world are ) it will work, it would not make economic sense for a manufacturer to have different voltage cars

DIY bench power supply with voltage regulator.
Finding Model Number, Voltage etc for Nelco Sewing Machine?
I have only just uncovered the trusty Nelco that my dear, late Mother used until her early death in 1990. I can find the serial number but, unfortunately, not either the Model Number or the voltage details and similar - which I need, since I can not find the power cord for what appears to be a machine in very good condition. Help and hints most welcome for this Australian Enquirer. good health.
Do you have a sewing repair shop near you? At least in the US, I'm pretty sure anyone with access to a Brewer Sewing catalog could match up your machine to the needed part and have it for you quite quickly, if they didn't have something onhand that would work.
If you don't have such a shop near you, you might take some good digital photos and send them to a sewing machine shop to see if they can help you.
