whats the difference between a blue and purple/violet laser pointer?
Looking online and i see a lot of violet laser pointers and almost no blue ones, is there an actual difference?
Maybe the semiconductor needed to create blue lasers cost more.

I need help with a 405nm blue/violet laser pointer !?
ok, so im going to buy a blue/violet laser (405nm)
but i dont know what mW to get. I was originally looking at a 10mW, but looking around i realised i could get a 20mW or even a 50mW for not much money more.
But i was wondering what exactly will the difference be between the the 3 lasers?
Will i be able to do anything different or notice any differences in them?

Human eyes can't take part 20mW from 10mW. The 405nm blue violet laser is not as strong as green ones, or blue ones. However we can always measure them by a power meter.
