Use Laser
Is it cruel to use a laser beam while playing with my cat?
I bought this new laser beam kitty toy that's made to help them exercise but my cat seems tortured by it! I stopped using it like 10 minutes ago and she's still walking around trying to fight the little red dot. Plus I feel bad because she can never actually catch it. What do you guys think?
Its not cruel to do for a bit, but your cat needs the satisfaction of landing the kill!! As long as it isn't the ONLY thing you play with, you are perfectly fine. I suggest getting one of those feather on a stick things, my cats go crazy and you can let them catch it so they feel that satisfaction of a job well done!! Make sure you praise your cats when they make the kill too, nothing makes a kitty happier
