im sure u remember me, i found the black chip fried i jumped it and it fixed the problem, probably temp ,considering i still dont know what caused it. hopefully it was a power surge. ive looked at the site u gave me already,cant match chip with #s is there a site that has pictures of chips resistors,diodes,also want yo know the funcion of the little box type silver ends. some are tan some are red some tan some black?

The diodes are related to the power supply after the jack output.
they convert the ac to dc, so that could of been the problem.
some time they will fry if the charger put out a distorted power, not a sinus.
Its definitely a bad power input somewhere.
The # relates to factories code, the letter describes the functionality.

In a regular electronic device its easy coz of the packaging, but on a mobo, the parts are striped from package to save space.
maybe if you upload high resolution pix to a free pix host site i can try.
the pix of mobo parts are impossible to decipher, you can only guess from their relative location on each circuit.
flat carbon black with silver ends are resistors.
colors are usually just to facilitate the robots that insert them into the board, it tells the laser where to put the part, it could be the same part (capacitor for example) but different Value.
to a human it has no normal info.
