How can I reset the dash lights on an 02 Alero?
I've had the Anti Lock, Trac off and Service Vehicle Soon lights on in my car for about a year. It's E-check time and I need to get these lights off, I don't care how, just need them off, even if for just enough miles to pass the e-check. I've had the codes tested...there are no codes showing. I've disconnected the battery, taken it to ground, that doesn't work. I've read numerous threads regarding these 3 lights in this model car...therefore I'm not concerned with why they are on, I'm only concerned with how to turn them off. for instance, I'd love to know how to replace the little light bulbs that illuminate these messages in the dash... if they burned out, there has got to be a way to replace them, so how can one go about doing that? Thank you!!
either take it to auto store and have them use the OBD2 scanner to reset it OR pull the battery cable on it for a day or two.

when it is raining, those light come the dashboard low trac, anti lock, and trac off. what does that mean?
it mean that your anti lock brake wheel sensor are bad,. remove tires and inspect sensor.check electrical connection. they might be loose ore not connected properly.clean backing plate with a solvent safe for sensor.if this does not work have a well qualified technician hook up a code scanner and check for trouble codes. watter will trigger false code on anti lock brake system
