Help with an inverse integral question?
Hi everyone,
I need a little help with this integral question...
I've actually figured majority of it out, but there's one part I can't quite get.
I actually have it scanned as a document just so it's easier to read...the bits in the pencil are the parts I'm unsure about.

I've boxed the question in the beginning. Also, in the scan, I'm using theta, but I'll just type it in as x here...
I have cot(x) which is equal to cos(x)/sin(x)...but...I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do afterwards. If indeed I do substitute the cos(x) with the sqrt(9-x^2), and then the sin(x) with x/3, shouldn't I have two 3's in the numerator technically? As I wrote it in? But if you look in the final answer my book has given, there is only one 3 in the numerator.
I don't know...if anyone could explain/clarify how I'd do this part, I would greatly appreciate it.

Interesting. You got it right until Integral = (1/3)ln|cscθ - cotθ| = (1/3)ln|1/sinθ - cosθ/sinθ|
Since x = 3 sinθ, so sinθ = x/3. cosθ = √[1 - sin²θ] = √[1 - (x/3)²] = √[1 - (x²/9)] = √[(1/9)(9 - x²)] = (1/3)√(9 - x²)
cosθ/sinθ = cosθ * 1/sinθ = (1/3)√(9 - x²) * (3/x) = [√(9 - x²)]/x
Answer is (1/3)ln|(3/x) - [√(9 - x²)]/x] = (1/3)ln|{3 - √(9 - x²)}/x| + C

SPECT scan pre post Neurofeedback on PTSD
Results from my QEEG scan, would neurofeedback help?
Hello,
Last month I had a Qeeg scan where I started at a picture and then with my eyes closed.
A neurologist and phyciatrist both reviewed the scan results:
Neurologist: I have mildly abnormal eeg due to the intermittent left temporal theta activity which is a non specific pattern indicating impairment of left temporal cortical function.
PHD: Elevated alpha activity anteriorly. Right greater than left theta and alpha asymmetries are apparent in medial frontal regions, decreased interhemispheric coherence in medial frontl regions and mean beta grequency is low in the same regons.
My theta/beat was 1.43 which is bleow the criteria of 2.36 for my age.
Any information would appreciated!

I would ask both which specific cognitive and/or behavioral functions, if any, may be affected, and what specific actions can I take to ameliorate these abnormalities.
And, also ask if the dysfunction that was discovered is still within normal functional boundaries, rather than skewed somewhat from the mean.
