On a vacuum wavelength basis, it ranges from 380 nanometers to 750 nanometers.
The corresponding digits of these numbers are complete coincidence. Also, 790 THz is violet and 380 nm is violet. Thus the 700 numbers do not mean the same color.

If you're doing it for looks please do everyone a favor and rethink your thought. stick with 4000K-4300K lights and everyone will be happier. You won't get annoying glare back at your that "super white" lights give off and you won't be annoying anyone with your glare that the lights are producing. If you're doing it for brightness the super white don't help lighting at all, its still the same lumens and if it has the blue coating it will not have as many lumens.
PIAA makes decent bulbs but are overpriced IMO. Check out Phillips brand, they produce a +30 and +50 bulb at the same wattage as factory bulbs, they will produce some extra light that you need without the annoying glare that "white" lights produce. Check out the X-treme power by phillips, it delivers "up to" 80% more light.
Stay away from any light with a blue coating, its just an illusion!
Also remember, white lights can not cut through rain or snow, instead it gets reflected right back at your face. Try it sometime, you're better off driving with no lights.

Sealed Beam Lamp As a follow-up to my Q about the headlight, if I could try to clarify-The sealed headlight lamps mostly have?
the 3 prongs, as was common years ago-What I need is one sealed lamp/headlight that would sit in the damaged headlight space-which it would. The problem remains as to find one that has the same connection as the finger lenght ones have and there is such a headlight. I'm just worried if there is an electrical problem, though both the little light and the sealed beam both say 12 volt.
It would solve my problem just to ease and fit the sealed light in the space, as like I said the finger length would just dangle there.
I can't afford the assembly and the car is a 1992 Buick Regal.
