If a photon is detected or not detected by a detector after it goes through a beam splitter will give you different results on a screen, do you not need more than one photon to "do" the experiment?
If so, your are not really measuring the "original" photon that went through the splitter right?
One photon will not give you a diffraction pattern. You need multiple photons for that. So are you really the effect of the same photon when the delayed choice experiment is done?
Am I making sense, or do I just not understand the principle?
part of the idea behind it is that it shows that light can be a wave and a particle, it does this because if only one photon goes through but you get two lines then it would be impossible for it to be a particle(however other evidence suggests it is so for now it's both)

Laser Line Should baseball put a laser that defines the strikezone, foul line, and foul pole?
Why cant MLB shoot a laser shooting through the strikezone, down the foul line and over the foul pole to determine the play. The ball would have a hologram or chip that would communicate with the laser and if the ball is fair, the laser would go off! Should there also be something installed to determine whether a play is safe or out. There are a whole lot of bad calls made by the umpires. Would this make the games more accurate and fair?
