Surgical Laser Surgical solution for stretch marks...?
I have lots of old, deep-set stretch marks and I was wondering if anyone knew of a "surgical" fix (laser, dermabrasion, etc.)? I think I'm WAY past shea butter! Thanks in advance....
Well, the only way to get a final answer would be to see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon and ask for the professional opinion. I wouldn't bet the farm on it happening, though. They do some great things with lasers now, though- and they might be able to get them smoothed out and faded to look a little less apparent though. Unfortunately, once the birthday suit gets stretched and crinkled, its really tough ironing them all out. I own a few myself, courtesy of a few babies. They aren't exactly unsightly, but well- you own them, you know. I just tell myself they are my motherhood medals of honor, and pick out full piece swim suits! I did once mention it to a female gyno, and she laughed, then showed me hers- and boy did I feel better. Said if they ever came up with a great solution, she'd be first in line. So, I say you can always ask, as you won't get if you don't. Just don't expect many miracles. And if you find one, by lucky chance- for heaven's sake spread the word!

I have scars on my legs and arms. would surgical prcedures help?
I have scars on my legs and arms. would surgical prcedures help?
would surgery lasers work or should i just stick with the cream stuff cuz that doesn't work too well right now. and they are dark patches. would it cost a lot? because most of them aren't big but there are a lot of them. and would it leave another scar somewhere else or would it make another scar and would it heal properly this time.
please assist. thx
See a dermatologist. They would be able to look at your scars and tell you if surgery would help or maybe prescribe another treatment that would help more then over the counter creams.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
