Is my speed reading made invalid if the speed camera sign is vandalised or disfigured?
Ive been flashed by a speed camera that I didnt even know was there because the sign was vandalised and disfigured. I thought it was a legal requirement that the sign be on show.
Does anyone know the situation on this?

How to get a speed camera/monitor on the road?
Nearly all the cars on my road speed. It is a 30mph speed limit and they go about 50/60mph. The road is in a residential area with many children and pets around. There has been a death on the road because of a speeding car and I want something done about it. How can I get the local council to put up one of those signs that tells the driver how fast there are going or to get a speed camera installed?

Your local police department will gladly park one of their speed indicator signs on the side of your road. Even though it's not photo radar, it is pretty effective at keeping cars at the speed limit.
