Rated: NRSynopsis: That hipster ring special agent Hugh Lockwood wears? It's a camera, transmitting image and sound of his surroundings. It's also a scanner, detecting telltale changes in pulse or other biometric readings of himself and the people around him. The ring and more electronic devices - some embedded - keep Lockwood linked with Probe Control, where experts and banks of computers provide instant mission-critical warnings, intel, even language translations. Hugh O'Brian portrays Lockwood and Burgess Meredith is his mission director in Probe, a telefilm that has Lockwood on a quest to recover priceless diamonds lost since World War II. O'Brian and Meredith reprised their roles in Search, the 1972-73 TV series inspired by the film.

Hand setting and removing tools for the watchmaker

Tools are available that are used for setting and removing hands in watches. Hand drivers, hand levers, hand removers and hand setters are some of the varied tools used in the watch industry for putting in and pulling out the watch hands.

The A&F Hand Driver is a Swiss made tool that comes with nylon tips. It is very useful and also reasonably priced. It has a robust design and is simple to use. The nylon tips ensure that the hands are not scratched or marked. The shaft in the middle is shaped ergonomically so as to offer maximum comfort while working with the tool. It is ideal for use on quartz watches. The Bergeon Hand Levers come as a pair and is preferred by experts. The tool is high precision and is perfectly balanced in terms of shape and feel. It helps in the effective removal of hands. It has a highly polished work surface and is made of hardened steel. It has a knurled handle which makes it easy to use.

The Bergeon Preston hand removing tool is very useful in removing hands safely from a variety of dials. It is ideal for use on wrist watches that have hours, minutes and seconds hands, without small and sophisticated chronograph hands. With the Bergeon Precision hand remover, it is possible to remove not just hands but cannon pinions, sweep wheels and chronograph driving wheels. It is a precision made tool that can remove hands without touching the dial and can be used on dials that are curved, stop watches and movements minus dials. The Bergeon Hand Setting Tool is a tool set preferred by professionals for safely setting watch hands. It has eight stakes and a holder spindle mounted on to a stiff nickel base. Each stake has a different size ranging from .3 mm to 1.7 mm.

Bergeon Hand fitting platform has a central probe that rises to support the back plate or centre wheel post of the watch while the hands are being fitted. The precision tool has a top platform table with spring suspensions. The platform has holes to make way for protrusions.

Bergeon Plastic hand levers come as a pair of tools made of plastic. They are much preferred both by professional and hobby watchmakers. The Bergeon Drawing Crown or Hand Setting tool is used for drawing the crown and also for removing hands from dials. It is made of stainless steel and has a spring loaded grip. It has plastic jaws that can be replaced. A Bergeon tool shaped like a fork is available which is used to remove train wheels and hands.
