Hey! No problem - I still get questions that I can never get.
Well, first you calculate the volume of the metal bar
V=l*b*h
= 1500*40*22
= 1 320 000 units
When this bar is melted its volume stays the same
Now you calculate what the volume of one cylinder would be:
V = pi*r^2*h
= pi*8^2*106
= 21 312.56 units
Now to see how many cylinders can be made:
1 320 000/21 312.56
=61.94 cylinders
Which should be rounded off to 62
Final Answer
62 cylinders
