Precision Optical How Golf scope measure distance?
just saw a site http://www.sourcingmap.com/professional-electronic-golf-range-finder-golf-scope-silver-p-2565.html saying its "Golf Range Finder s precision optical instrument designed to find the distance between you and the flag?
It sends out a small laser that reflects off of the pin and comes back. The range finder calculates the time it took and then equates it to distance. This is exacly how we calculate that the moon is moving away from the earth 3 feet per year.
Honestly, I bought one and used it and have put it away. Its fun to use and stuff, but its too much trouble and if its at your home course, you know the distances anyways. Plus, its hard to hit flags from over 100 yards, so If your trying to get an exact yardage from 152, think again. I hate to say this, but my friends sky caddie is just as good because its always running on the cart and it gives good approximations.

"Thermal noise from optical coatings is a growing area of concern and overcoming limits to the sensitivity of high precision measurements by thermal noise is one of the greatest challenges faced by experimental physicists. In this timely book, internationally renowned scientists and engineers examine our current theoretical and experimental understanding. Beginning with the theory of thermal noise in mirrors and substrates, subsequent chapters discuss the technology of depositing coatings and state-of-the-art dielectric coating techniques used in precision measurement. Applications and remedies for noise reduction are also covered. Individual chapters are dedicated to specific fields where coating thermal noise is a particular concern, including the areas of quantum optics/optomechanics, gravitational wave detection, precision timing, high-precision laser stabilisation via optical cavities and cavity quantum electrodynamics. While providing full mathematical detail, the text avoids field-specific jargon, making it a valuable resource for readers with varied backgrounds in modern optics"--

PS/2 optical precision mouse does not work at boot-up..but works after replugging in mouse with no features.?
I have a PS/2 IBM 4 button Optical Mouse that fails to work at boot-up.Removing and reattaching PS/2 plug makes it work after computer is running but, none of the software features work....just the basic. When I remove and refresh in device manager all is well....Its just on boot-up it does not work. Have tried removing and installing software and using USB port to no avail. Like I said its just on start up.After removing mouse in device manager and installing its works for that session until you reboot. This is a dell inspiron running Windows ME. It use to work fine...but I can't figure out the problem...no other problems with computer. BTW: Logitech mouse a few years ago used to do same thing for awhile
There are some .bin files that may be messing up your computer.
