Precision refers to being able to repeat the same results. I think what you mean is accuracy--which is getting close to the right value.
Density is mass/volume so +/- .002 g / +/- .03 cm^3 = +/- .0666667 error.
Since isopropyl alcohol and ethanol differ only in the 3rd decimal place and the error will make a difference in the 2nd decimal place, the instruments are not *accurate* (note: not not precise, that's different) enough to distinguish between them.
