Where can I find a vintage push-pull switched light fixture that mounts onto staircase balustrade base post?
It looks like a flush mount fixture, but it has a small push pull switch at its base. It mounts onto the end post, or newel post, or number one pos. The fixture sports a glass globe cover.

What size is "large" for a soft box
if the soft box says for flash/stobe can i still use it with the lighting above
Since you're not spending much on the lighting, invest in some good, LARGE softboxes. This will soften the light and lessen the amount of shadow. You will still get a little shadow, but not as much with a softbox.
