Why do anorexics cut up their food into tiny pieces, eat naked in front of mirrors,etc?
Just wondering what the whole eating in front of a mirror naked thing does.
And does cutting up the food into tiny pieces make them feel like they ate more so that they will stop eating due to feeling like a fat pig?

Mirrors (Blu-ray Disc) $32.23 French director Alexandre Aja adds to his growing canon of horror features with this remake of the Korean feature GEOUL SOKEURO (2003). Kiefer Sutherland stars as Ben Carson, a disgraced former New York City cop who attempts to put his checkered past behind him by taking a job as a security guard. Carson is required to take the night shift in a department store in the city. The store closed down after a fire put an end to its business, and Carson soon discovers that malevolent spirits are lurking behind its walls. The spirits connect with the human world through the mirrors in the store, and when they discover Carson`s presence they go after his ex-wife, Amy (Paula Patton), and his kids (played by Erica Gluck and Cameron Boyce). Carson attempts to figure out the meaning of a cryptic message carved into one of the mirrors, hoping it will save his family and cut off contact with the malignant lurking presence.Aja successfully replicates much of the tension and edge-of-your-seat moments that he managed so skillfully in HAUTE TENSION (2003). The film begins with an unnerving set piece in which Carson`s predecessor takes a shard of mirror and slashes his own throat, and it`s an indication of the gore-filled fun that awaits intrepid viewers. Aja creates a palpable sense of unease by shooting dim-lit set pieces in the department store. Sutherland makes for a convincing lead in a character that closely resembles his turn as Jack Bauer in 24. There are plenty of genuine scares in the film, and the director ultimately spins MIRRORS as a cross between a psychological thriller in the vein of the POLTERGEIST movies and a no-holds-barred splatter flick. |

I am looking to cover a large area behind my bar approx 2M x 4M with mirrors. What do I use?
The area I hope to cover is 2 Metres x 4 Metres. I can either use 4 - 6 big pieces or several tile sized pieces. I could use glass or acrylic.
Any idea what would be most cost effective? Where can I buy the stuff in Sydney?
I do not suggest mirror tile..cheesy looking! If your heart is set on this decor, call a glass company and have the panels cut for you, edges sanded for handling. Glass comes in 4' X 8' panels, so you could get roughly 2meter tall by 2 or so meter's wide....I assume the 2 meters is the height!....have them installed by the glass people...it would only take one screw up to loose any money you might have saved, AND they will use the proper adhesives....make sure the wall is flat and smooth before installation. This size will ahve to be plate glass mirror, and in the States, that stuff is about 6-7$ per sq. foot...this ain't gonna be cheap!
IF money is a problem, make up 2 meter by slightly less than the width of available mylar sheet film...allow about 3 extra inches less in widtgh for overturn of the mylar to staple to edges. or so meter frames, very sturdy with cross bars in them ( from 1X2 wood), cover with silver mylar, stretch tight without wrinkles and staple around edges...hang on wall, flat. This makes a great mirror, but cleaning it is a job..you must use very soft cloth to clean this stuff without scratching it...but it is highly cost effective. Go only to look for silver mylar and find the cost and sizes available...it is but a film, easy to handle, very light weight, comes in rolls.
