How easy is it to damage your eyes with a 5.0 milliwatt laser?
I just received a 5.0 milliwatt helium neon laser that was formally used in a physics laboratory. I was wondering if my eyes could be damaged viewing the spot projected on a white surface?
very easy it can burn the retina even from a reflection off a mirror or window, viewing the spot should be ok on nonreflective surfaces
