Pair Laser Mirror
LoveBites and Bruises matching piece for makeup set?
I am currently creating a custom makeup set: eyeliner, perfume, eyeshadow, bluch, lipstick, lip plumper, lip gloss, mascara, foundation, concealer, powder, eyebrow pencil etc. And I was considering a custom laser cut piece to add as a mirror, perhaps a mirror in the shape of a pair of lips or something to add some extra sparkle. I have aninterest in LoveBites and Bruises but am unsure of whether they supply this type of service? i.e. extra large orders for products.

Think about this what if there was a space elevator.?
It would work using carbon nano tubes to construct a really long cable then using high powered lasers that would shoot against a pair of durable mirrors.
It can be deployed by unrealing both ends at once from spools in geostationary orbit. If you keep the center of gravity at geostationary distance (21,700 miles) while the counterweight goes up and the tether goes down, the whole thing will hopefully remain straight.
I worry about lasers cutting the tether. Some other method of powering the climbers should be better.
If a satellite is released anywhere other than geostationary height, it will need a rocket boost to circularize its orbit.
Who's going to clean up the mess when it snaps and wraps around the equator? They're talking about a thin ribbon with long slit in it, not like a rope; so tree branches will grow thru the slits. How are you going to remove it with tearing up the rain forest? This is a little more serious than a discarded gum wrapper; an we all know how environmentalists react when somebody drops a gumwrapper in the forest.
Questions are already being asked about the byproducts of CNT production.
But what about the CNT's themselves? I think the EPA should immediately take steps to prevent release of CNT's into the air and water until the industry can prove they are safe.
The closest thing to exist in nature is asbestos, and we all know how dangerous that is. Once asbestos gets into your body it will still be there after your body is fossilize and found by future beings in a million years. If CNT's are that durable, and if they are harmful to life, a thimbleful in a city's water supply could cause thousands of cancer deaths. A ton of them in the ocean could permanently change the ocean's ecology.
Has anyone raised this issue in Washington?
