Optics Wooden
Can anyone ID this antique filter, optics, camera calibration tool?
I got this in a big box of antique camera and optics equipment, some of which I think came from the lab of a well known optics manufacturing company. I have no idea what it is and extensive google searching has created no leads. No markings on the wooden case and the only markings on the instrument are 301 and the numbers 0-10.

Any help is appreciated.
For something like that, I would suggest checking with your local camera shops (not electronics store) and any local camera/photography clubs. You might also check with a local college that still offers a film photography course.
