That's a link to this intro lab we just did.
We just did this optics lab with a concave mirror, where we had begin by placing the beam machine on the plane and using a triple beam label the principle focus. Then we directed a single ray at the mirror and marked where the incident ray was and where it reflected. Two times.
I'm not going to write out the whole lab, my sheet is attached though
My questions are the ones on the sheet, I don't understand them, its #8.
It ask
Summarize your results for each of the three conditions
a) Rays parallel to the principle axis
b) Rays that pass through F before striking the mirror
C) Rays that pass through point C, known as the center curvature
I would greatly appreciated it if you could help me I know it's slightly time consuming. Thanks anyways though.
a) Rays passing parallel to principal axis meet at focus so the image is a point image (greatly diminished) and real.
b) rays passing through F before striking mirror intersect at infinity so real image is formed but it forms at infinity.
c) Rays passing through C radius of curvature retrace their path and a real and inverted image is formed of the same size as the object and is formed at C.

how is your cable company where you live?
over here in NJ the cable company's just keep pushing their triple play one low price (phone, internet, cable). every other commercial for the past 2 years is about cable, fiber optics or telephone connection.
i'm ready to go back to antenna
ours have a package deal like that for $89 a month, free cable would make me feel better abou the cable in my area...i just ahven't gotten that one fgured all the way out lol
