samsung home cinema system setup?
i am looking at the Samsung HT-TZ225 home cinema system ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-HT-TZ225-5-1ch-Cinema-System/dp/tech-data/B001V9KQK8/ref=de_a_smtd )
but we would also be required to buy the Samsung wireless transmitter (
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-SWA-4000-XEU-Wireless-Speaker/dp/B0016J75JS/ref=pd_cp_ce_3 ).
But i tend to buy Blu-Ray DVD's which i play using my PS3. what i want to know is, is there a way to connect my PS3 to the home cinema system, and get a surround sound, Blu-Ray experience??
the PS3 does have a digital optical cable output
Connect HDMI from PS3 to TV for video and optical cable from PS3 to system for surround sound.

K2GXT - Optical Transmitter-Reciever Kit
Is it possible to get an optical cable converter?
I'm looking to plug my PS3 into my wireless headphone transmitter but it only has a regular headphone-jack-like input slot. I'm wondering if there's any kind of converter I can plug an optical cable into that has this regular jack output?
Thanks sjburke73, but I can't use RCA as I'm forced to use HDMI output for video only. Cheers for the AV receiver tip too, but they are massively too expensive for this leisure workaround.
I'm not aware of one, but you may wish to consider any of the following two options:
1) Use an a/v receiver so that all inputs can go to your headphone transmitter
2) Use the RCA outputs from the AV out connection of the PS3 and get an RCA stereo to headphone converter from Radio Shack for around $5
