How would I begin organizing this research paper?
I am working on a paper for philosophy. My topic is going to be proving Socrates's "All I know is that I know nothing". So..I'm using the concept of all our "knowledge" really is is subjective "justified true beliefs" and our beliefs are only based on perception. Our perceptions can be flawed (for example optical illusions or how some view the glass as half full and others as half empty) So...what would be a good thesis and how would I begin to organize this paper?
Your thesis should be that you believe Socrates' "All I know is that I know nothing" statement to be plausible. You might give a brief 1 paragraph in background of Socrates, his philosophy. State your thesis clearly, then provide what evidence you plan to use in support of your thesis. Then take a paragraph or two to summarize your thesis and how you have supported it, then write your conclusion. Make sure that you properly cite all sources per the citation style your instructor requires and footnote or endnote accordingly.
