what is the formula to calculate optical fiber bandwidth?
i am looking for an equation to calculate optical fiber(single mode) bandwidth and data rate.if it is possible for you plz help me to calculate this items.
Have a look at dispersion caused by a circular aperture.
When the different orders of spatial dispersion overlap due to the frequency (wavelength) dispersion due to your modulation then you have reached your bandwidth limit.
However other limits may com in before this - or you may be able to do some filtering (Gabor) to improve on this limit.
