I was in a car accident (guy hit me) my car is totalled according to the adjuster...
How much will I typically get as a settlement, dont they have to give me enough to be able to atleast replace the vehicle with a similiar or same model w/ same options?
i looked up on NADA, KBB & Edmunds...
and for my car which is in GOOD condition, not excellent, not fair, not poor, GOOD it runs (based on figures from all 3 web sites) anywhere from $2800-3600...
what can i expect so i can start to look around for what i can afford, because im probably just going to buy a car outright like i did w/ this one...I dont want payments, yet.

Since you have already looked up the book value, you have already answered your question. Insurance companies don't really use "book value" but their payoff should be close to what you learned the value is. If you don't like the amount they want to give you, you can haggle with them (a bit) and try to get more.
