Sorry there is so many, I just am having trouble with these problems
I worked them out completely following examples I found and I was off on each answer by anywhere from 50 to 100 off from what the answer is

Microwave Assisted Leaching of Sulphide Minerals $176.84 The understanding of the mechanisms by which microwaves act upon leaching systems is of particular importance for efficient microwave processing and also to determine the optimum microwave leaching conditions and potential scale up. This work reports a fundamental study on the influence of microwave energy on the dissolution of sulphide minerals. Chalcopyrite and sphalerite were chosen as model materials due to their economic importance and the diversity of their heating behavior in a microwave field. This work reports the basics of microwave heating principles with focus on the interaction between microwaves and materials (solids and liquids). It includes also a comprehensive literature survey on the application of microwaves in extractive metallurgy as well as experimental study on the leaching of both chalcopyrite and sphalerite using different leaching systems under both conventional and microwave conditions. Measurement of dielectric properties of solids and liquids has been carried out using both cavity perturbation and coaxial probe techniques. Finally, numerical electromagnetic simulations was carried for the leaching process. 23. Other Constraints: The Cosmic Microwave Background
President Bush wants to send people back to the Moon and Mars. Is this a good idea?
President Bush has urged NASA to concentrate on getting people to the moon and Mars. If we do that, new experiments on the cosmic microwave background, new experiments to probe dark energy, to look for habitable planets -- all these will be delayed and/or canceled because we are sending people back to the moon.
Which is more important to you? Why? Or do you not care one way or the other? Just wondering.
I doubt that the people researching cosmic microwave background, dark energy, or habitable planets will be going to the Moon or Mars. The Moon and Mars, and at least two other bodies in our own solar system are habitable with technologies available 40 years ago. What good are habitable planets in deep space if we lack the means to colonize them? Going back to the Moon and going to Mars are the first "baby steps" in the process of acquiring the technology we will need to get to those habitable planets in deep space. The other projects sound more like will-o-the-wisps to me, but I'd bet they could be better studied with a Moon based super-telescope than even with the Hubble.
