Lot Optical Laser is laser eye treatment the right way to go?
do you think its is safe and wise to go for the laser eye treatment by optical express?
cos i dnt make a lot of money so it will take a while to save £800 or do u think i should get contacts and pay £56 every 3 months?
and do u think there will be a lot of risks with the eye treatment?
I wear daily contacts and have done for the last three years.
If I had the money I think I would go ahead with laser eye treatment. There is lots of risk but technology is so far advanced now that the chance of losing your sight during laser eye surgery has decreased dramatically. But you have to think about more practical things, it takes a long time to heal and in that time you will be very dependant on others to drive you places etc.
If I was you, I'd buy some contact lenses that suit you and gradually save the money if you still want to go ahead with it in the future. But you might find contact lenses are a really good alternative.
I personally use daily contacts "Opsys" from Specsavers and pay £22 every month. I find them very comfortable and would recommend them to anyone considering daily contact lenses.

This textbook provides senior undergraduates studying modern optics with a comprehensive account of optics and optical electronics. A large number of solved and unsolved problems are included in the book. The extensive coverage makes it valuable to postgraduates, and also to optical engineers, as a source of basic design information. The initial chapters cover the basic principles involved in the propagation of electromagnetic waves. These are followed by a description of diffraction and its application to spatial frequency filtering and holography. Laser theory and the various types of laser are covered, as well as the theory of optical waveguides, fibre optics and integrated optics. The final chapters cover electrooptics, acoustooptics, and nonlinear optical effects. Author: Ghatak, A. K./ Thyagarajan, K./ Thyagarajan, K. For years scientists turned to the CRC Handbook of Laser Science Technology for reliable data on optical materials. Out of print for several years, that standardsetting work now has a successor: the Handbook of Optical Materials. This new handbook is an authoritative compilation of the physical properties of materials used in all types of lasers and optical systems. In it, scientist, author, and editor Dr. Marvin J. Weber provides extensive data tabulations and references for the most important optical materials, including crystals, glasses, polymers, metals, liquids, and gases. The properties detailed include both linear and nonlinear optical properties, mechanical properties, thermal properties together with many additional special properties, such as electro, magneto, and elastooptic properties. Using a minimum of narration and logically organized by material properties, the handbooks unique presentation simplifies the process of comparing different materials for their suitability in particular applications. Appendices furnish a wealth of other useful information, including lists of the many abbreviations and acronyms that proliferate in this field. The Handbook of Optical Materials is simply the most complete onestop source available for materials data essential to lasers and optical systems. Author: Weber, Marvin J./ Weber, Weber J. Is there any proof that "nothing can surpass speed of light"?
i have seen lots of theories are based on the fact that nothing can go beyond the speed of light but is there any proof of this statement .
Please dont reply that theory of relativity says that , i want to see a detailed proof. Its just that it is so difficult to assume such a statement without knowing the its origin. ANd if there are some particles that move faster than light , do we have equipments that can detect them,? (like if we use optical instruments or maybe electromagnetic radiation or even lasers to detect speed of some particals ,it wont be able to detect more than the speed of light as it is itself limited by the speed of light ).
till today there is nothing known that can travel faster than speed of light..........than u can think that till today there is nothing that can surpass speed of light..................you have studied all theories of relativity and still u are asking this question and still u want a detailed proof.....and if u want a detailed proof......than ask people, scientists , engineers..........that tell me something which can surpass the speed of light..................they will have no answer................that u will get proof that nothing can surpass the speed of light.....
