Linear Stage why is it that there is a low level of new capital formation in most poor countries?
it's about economic development. the major obstacle of development according to the linear stages of growth model is the low level of new capital formation in most poor countries. why you think so?
Most poor countries have kleptocratic governments. Not too many people interested in investments which are likely to be confiscated on the whim of some dictator.

"Any student studying linear algebra will welcome this textbook, which provides a thorough, yet concise, treatment of key topics in university linear algebra courses. Blending practice and theory, the book enables students to practice and master the standard methods as well as understand how they actually work. At every stage the authors take care to ensure that the discussion is no more complicated or abstract than it needs to be, and focuses only on the fundamental topics. Hundreds of examples and exercises, including solutions, give students plenty of hands-on practice End-of-chapter sections summarise material to help students consolidate their learning Ideal as a course text and for self-study Instructors can use the many examples and exercises to supplement their own assignments Both authors have extensive experience of undergraduate teaching and of preparation of distance learning materials"--
The word linear comes from the Latin word linearis, which means created by lines. In mathematics, a linear map or function f(x) is a function which satisfies the following two properties... Additivity (also called the superposition property): f(x + y) = f(x) + f(y). This says that f is a group homomorphism with respect to addition. Homogeneity of degree 1: f(x) = f(x) for all . It turns out that homogeneity follows from the additivity property in all cases where is rational. (proof) In that case, provided that the function is continuous, it becomes useless to establish the condition of homogeneity as an additional axiom. In this definition, x is not necessarily a real number, but can in general be a member of any vector space. A less restrictive definition of linear function, not coinciding with the definition of linear map, is used in elementary mathematics. The concept of linearity can be extended to linear operators. Important examples of linear operators include the derivative considered as a differential operator, and many constructed from it, such as del and the Laplacian. More than a century ago, in 1900, one of the great archaeological finds of all time was made in Crete. Arthur Evans discovered what he believed was the palace of King Minos, with its notorious labyrinth, home of the Minotaur. As a result, Evans became obsessed with one of the epic intellectual stories of the modern era: the search for the meaning of Linear B, the mysterious script found on clay tablets in the ruined palace.Evans died without achieving his objective, and it was left to the enigmatic Michael Ventris to crack the code in 1952. This is the first book to tell not just the story of Linear B but also that of the young man who deciphered it. Based on hundreds of unpublished letters, interviews with survivors, and other primary sources, Andrew Robinson`s riveting account takes the reader through the life of this intriguing and contradictory man. Stage by stage, we see how Ventris finally achieved the breakthrough that revealed Linear B as the earliest comprehensible European writing system.

Belt driven linear stage
printed a 20x30 print at ritz camera because i had a gift card. end result has massive amount of lines across?
i usually would not print an image at ritz because i just dont care for the, i printed an 18 meg file that was beautiful on my 72 dpi monitor. i upsized from the 12 meg file in photoshop at the raw stage after i opened it with the cs3 bridge. the question is....does this print look like ass because of ritz' or is it because i upsized about 50 percent. i think its the printer at ritz. i dont see how upsizing (interpolating) would cause the linear problem. image shot with a 5d, proper glass, right exposure, and in focus. any recomendations on a quality printing outfit. any feedback on ofoto.com
It's the printer used at ritz. the printer heads were dirty leaving lines going through the print. I would suggest taking it back and either demanding a reprint or a refund of the certificate or equivelant money to take it somewhere else. if it's a 12mg file, you shouldn't have had to upsize the file to have it printed a 20x30.
