What are those light bulb shaped things in physics class?
In physics class we had somethings that looked like light bulbs but they had a spinner in them with black and white diamonds on it that would move when sunlight would hit them. Will someone please let me know what these things are called?
Crookes'radiometer. Rex is correct; they don't work in the obvious way. If there was absolutely no trace of gas inside the bulb, just a perfect vacuum, the black side of the paddle would be moving forward, because a photon hitting the shiny side is reflected, and gives twice as much momentum to the paddle as a photon hitting the black side and being absorbed. But if you look carefully, you'll see that the paddles spin the opposite way. That's because there's a trace of air inside the bulb. The black side is warmer than the shiny side because it absorbs photons and turns them to heat. This causes the traces of gas in contact with the black side to expand and push it.

Is it possible to get into shape drinking light beer?
And if so do you have to work out twice as much?
light beer just lowers your calorie intake it wont help you get into shape. It may help contribute to you losing some weight, but thats about it. if you are concerned about getting into shape eat right and exercise!
