where can i find the right HID light for my truck?

I have a 97 ford f 150 and im trying to get hid lights for it but theres a problem. the bulb number is 9007. its only one for both the low beam and high beam so i was wondering if i buy a hid the kit for it would it come with the low and high beam or just the low beam and the high beam would just be the nasty regular halogen light?

It only comes with the low beam. There is NO reason to have HID in your high beams. You should barely be using your high beams in the first place. But the reason is because HID's take time to warm up, and since using your high beams is usually a quick instance (flashing them to signal to someone else or to quickly look ahead further) they wont warm up in time, this will damage the HID's (hid's need to be warmed up, they will fail if constantly turned on and off quickly). Also another reason is that your factory wiring might not be able to handle the current of having both low and high beam HID running at the same time, and you'll either fry it or damage it. Frying or overloading your factory lighting harness puts you at risk for a fire. So buy the HID's if you want but you will only get low beams. and thats all you need!

HID xenon kit odd behavior?

Hi. I have just bought a HID kit (a 4300k set with 9500 bulbs) which i ordered from vvme and the installation went perfectly fine. It was only until i started driving that i noticed a problem.
As soon as i hit the high beams, it takes about 3 seconds to get to full strength. Which i know is normal. BUT after about two seconds from that, it abruptly loses a little strength and the light becomes more yellow/white instead of blue/white. Could it be faulty ballasts? thanks.

Ballast could be a problem, it could also be that your alternator or battery are unable to supply ample current. Try the beams while at rest with all the other accessories off.
