Lens Optical Vision
Can the lenses in our eyes expand and contract as our blood sugar rises and falls? What condition is this?
I have type II diabetes. It is well-controlled (A1C = 6.4) My eye doctor tells me I have no retinopathy and I have no macular degeneration. However, I have some double-vision in one of my eyes -- primarily halos around lights at night and around some text on computer monitors (and scoreboards at sporting events, that sort of thing). This eye has also had a tiny floater for a couple of years. When my eyes were dialated, my eye doctor told me that she could see the edges of the affected lens were somewhat warped or frayed. She says this happens from expansion and contraction caused by fluctuations in my blood sugar. The explanation seems plausible, but I have not found any sort of clinical description of this condition anywhere online. (Optical lens edema?) The effect is apparently somewhat like having a cataract and the treatment (replacement of the lens) is supposed to be the same as well. But I'm curious if anyone else has this condition or knows a name for it.
My mother (who is also a Type II Diabetic) has this problem - the halos. and the the blurred vision and the floaters(especially if she cheats here and there and her diet..) She has been seeing both an Ophthalmologist and a Retina Specialist for well over 15 years (she's now 77). She has her eyes dilated, takes dye tests, the whole deal.
She told me that her Dr. told her that the pressures in your eyes are directly affected by your blood sugar levels. Hemorrhaging can occur and cloud or blur you vision. She often gets laser treatments which shrink the blood vessels and help stop the blurring. Keep up the good work maintaining your sugar - it's not easy I realize (I'm diabetic too)
But one suggestion (and please take no offense to this) you might want to go to another ophthalmologist specializing in diabetic diseases of the eyes and get a second opinion. It can't hurt?....

About anti-blur, how do we, and cameras see?
I've been wondering, why do we not see every image everywhere in our vision, as if one dot would fill our optical sensors.
Like, with the first two images in the provided link, wouldn't those lines hit the same point in the eye, making those points on the eye see both images at the same time?
and how do our eyes make it so that their isn't so much blur so that we have a "sharp" image?
I've been thinking that we can stop blur by changing the shape of our eyes lens, but I can still visualize a blur in my head... and what about computer aided cameras, can they focus just by using a guess and check method?
I'm not sure if I can understand your question.
Anyway, here is an answer:
The light rays coming from each point of the object are focused by the eye's lenses in a point of the retina. The lenses can accommodate to focus always the rays in the retina. That's why you get clear images from points at different distances.
There is a very slight amount of blur because of diffraction effects but this is usually negligible.
