Lens Diode Blue

Drilling 2 PRECISE holes?
Alright im trying to drill two 3mm holes. These holes will fit 2 diodes. The hard part is drilling the holes. Well let me get into details about the holes. These holes need to be precise, the diodes must touch each other at the lens at one point only. Then the opposite end of the diode, must be 1-2mm apart. These diodes touching each other at one point will make a V shape. The vertex of the V is where the diodes touch, and the top of the V is the 1-2mm apart. The Angle of the vertex is 60 degrees, for the best. I was wondering, how would i achieve such preciseness. If i mess up even a little bit it will cost a bunch. The important part is the angle. What are some special tools i can use, or improvise in order to get the special angle. Also would i need to do any calculations?
here is a picture of the diode, the Red dot is where the diode would touch the 2nd diode, the blue would be 1-2mm away from the 2nd diode.
If you want to do this yourself, you will need a jig. Don't let this be a barrier, they can be very easy to make.
You need some metal sleeves with the same inside diameter as the holes you will be drilling (you can even drill these yourself, if you need to).
Then find a sturdy piece of brass or other solderable metal. Solder these sleeves to the brass at your 60 degree angle. A 30-60-90 triangle that you can get at a drafting supply will do just fine to make your measurment.
Now drill your first hole thru one of the sleeves in the jig, and plug it thru the jig with a 3mm rod, to keep it stable. Now drill the second hole thru the other sleeve in your jig.
You now have two holes that are 60 degrees apart.
It would probably be a good idea to drill some test holes first, to ensure you have the precision you need.
