Lead Diode
when you are forward -bias testing a diode with a digitl vom , the red test lead should be place on?

It depends upon whether your red lead is positive or negative relative to the other lead (black lead), and it varies by VOM / DVM / DMM. Your best bet is to use a second voltmeter to determine whether the red lead is postive and the black negative, or vice versus. Then place the positive lead on the anode of the diode, and the negative lead on the cathode.
So, if the red lead is postive, place it on the anode of the diode.

AC DC Volts, does water burn?
This is what was sent to me, concerning my question of 120 amp control.
The fact is I charge up to 14 batteries at a time using 120 AC volts. And yes I have blowed a few batteries up, but if I do my job right the first time, it cuts the risk down.
I have also been told I can't burn water, too late already have.

You need to do some studying, for example on the difference between AC and DC. You can't charge a battery on AC, it will blow up.
4 batteries are 48 volts, 56 volts under charge. You would need a transformer, a set of diodes and some sort of charge regulator.

If you are charging batteries on 120AC you will blow up the batteries.
Add a 50 cent rectifier and you will be a lot safer, although you can still blow them up from overcharge. Add a 10 ohm power resistor in series and you will cut that risk down. You should monitor the voltage with a meter to avoid overcharge.
Water does not burn.
Study some basic electricity before you kill yourself.
