If you shone a laser light into a box that insides were completely covered in mirrors would it go forever?
If you shone a laser light into a box that insides were completely covered in mirrors then took the light source away would the light remain shining off all the mirrors in the box?
No.
There is no such thing as perfect reflection; so some energy would be lost from the photons with each reversal of direction. As the speed of light is about as fast as it gets, the number of reflections in a second would be enormous, losing energy with each one. So when that source laser is turned of, the beam and reflections will cease immediately as far as the eye can tell. That results because the photon energy is lost as each photon is eventually absorbed by the mirrors or intervening air.

i would try it have the food bacteria (ie. e coli) on some dry surface and move this surface (1.2 m/s) so would the bacteria stay on the surface?
another question is would the light (laser 738n) disturb the food bacteria once i expose this surface into a laser source?
very complicated question. bacterial adhesion depends on many variables. Biofilms are formed that help bacteria adhere to surfaces. Some of the variables include: electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions, steric hindrance, van der Waals forces, temperature, and hydrodynamic forces as well as the species of bacteria.
