Laser Show Scanner
scanner error.power on/power off message appears in my hp laser priner3030?
my hp laserjet 3030 prineter some times showing scanner error.
It's hard to say what the problem may be. It may be a bad scanner, software or driver issue. If it appears whenever you power on the printer, then it's a printer/scanner problem. Make sure that any scanner lock downs are removed. Check your setup or User's manual for any setup, installation or unpacking instructions.
Otherwise you'll need to have a technician look at it or take it back to where you purchased it if it's new.

Amazing Laser Show
I have HP COLOR LASER JET 2840 now display shows scanning bulb warming up and not getting ready&scanner motor?
Scanner motor doesn't stop where it should be and moves to the end so gear gets slipped and a sound coming out At the start. Scanner moves backward & forward. But finally moves to the end. Can any one suggest a solution to this problem so that I can fix it. Is there any programe in menu mode by which the problem can be fixed?
this problem is not from motor . scanner's have a home position part when scanner mirror's are dirty scanner can not find the home position and doe's not stop . if you can open your scanner . then clean your scanner unit mirror's
