How do I construct a peanut butter laser?
A few weeks ago I was assigned a procedural speech and one of the topics I came up with was Peanut Butter Laser Construction. I contacted my photonics teacher and he told me that, theoretically, I would need to use extreme temperatures to pull it off (thus practically impossible for me). However, I was told by my speach teacher that Peanut Butter Laser construction had been presented in class before. Can someone please provide me with design schematics (and tips) for this particular project?
It is not very different than making a sugar cube laser.
It is listed in your MIT site. Go to MIT site under photonics section give a search for sugar laser. Then the procedures are very similar

if I study Laser photonics what kind of job I can get?
You'll probably get job offers in:
Semiconductors, Solar Panels, or electronics
However, I don’t know of any undergraduate programs that let you specialize in that. Normally, people get Electrical engineering degrees and then get a master in photonics. Plus, If you have a BSEE then your opportunities are much more open
