Laser Mounts
Is it a good idea?: mounting a laser onto a 3-9x 42 rifle scope?
Hi there,
I was thinking about mounting a laser onto my Howa M-1500 .223.
It already has a scope.
Is this idea a waste of time?
I was thinking it could help with low light shooting.
Any ideas on what a reasonably cheap option would be?
I live in Victoria Australia so I have to take shipping costs into account.

No, lasers are used for quick target acquisition for handguns and shotguns. In a low light situation with a scope, yes you might be able to see the laser, but the target is what you won't be able to see. Lasers are also best suited for short range shots where a rifle would not be practical.

Warne Scope Mounts Laser Unit
Light+Laser Mounts for an 870 Express Ribbed Barrel?
I've been looking for a mount that will fit over the barrel of my 12 gauge 870 express synthetic, that is either single, or tri-rail, so I can mount either a laser, light, or both.
The problem is the ribbed barrel kind of screws everything up, I can't find a barrel mount that would fit under the ribs.
As well, I can't mount anything to the magazine tube, as it is only a 4 shell magazine, i e very short.
Any ideas?
Good Call< cheap too< will have to see how they hold under recoil.
Have you tried a under barrel mount?
