Contact local outpatient physical therapy or chiropractic offices and ask if they have this modality (also called "cold laser") available. Keep in mind, Laser Therapy is only used as an adjunct in overall treatment for your condition.

Physics Diffraction/Interference Laser question?

Why is a laser a better light source for interference and diffractionn experiments than a white light source with a set of colored filters?

To have the interference/diffraction effects, you need a monochromatic coherent light source. Monochromatic means that all of wavelenths are identical. Obviously, white light has a whole range of wavelengths (from 400nm to 700nm) while a laser realistically has a range of only a few fractions of a nanometre. Coherent light means that its exactly in phase with each other. Light created from a single point source will always be in phase with each other. But if you consider light from a light bulb, for example, you don't have a single 'point source', you have billions of point sources, shooting light off into all directions. So the light isn't coherent, and not all of the rays of light will undergo constructive/destructive interference like is expected. Lasers are made specifically to satisfy these conditions, which is why they're ideal to show the properties of interference and diffraction.
