Ionic Teeth Whitening

Whitelight is a revolutionary ionic teeth-whitening system that uses light technology in order to speed up the tooth whitening process.

Laser teeth whitening is one of the latest advancements in teeth whitening technology with the Whitelight ionic teeth whitening system being a step on in that it allows you to use a light tooth whitening treatment in the comfort of your own home.

The ionic teeth whitening process enables you to remove surface and embedded stains caused by smoking, certain liquids and foods. The manufacturers of the ionic teeth whitening system state that the process will lift years of stains in just over 20 minutes and do not leave you with the problem of sensitive teeth.

The manufacturers state that the LED light assists in the deeper penetration of the tooth whitening gel, into the tooth. but there is no mention of the ionic teeth whitening system having any impact on the yellowing of the dentin inside your teeth which is a common reason for tooth discoloration. It is advisable that you seek professional advice as to the suitability of ionic teeth whitening in regard to the discoloration of your teeth.

Unlike professional chair based teeth whitening processes and some other home based whitening products there appears to be no reference made as to how many shades lighter your teeth will be as a result of ionic teeth whitening.
