Are you planning a high-production ordeal?
If not, you can cut plexi with a table saw, and a band saw. I do it all the time. You can bend it with a heating element recessed in a trough, over a form in an oven, or with a heat gun.
You certainly don't need a ...laser.
If you are looking for one of these computer navigated things, it's gonna be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Not worth it if you are doing low production.
But if you are doing that much production, and you need an opinion on this, I'd go to a forum about shops, not YA.

I'm assuming you mean you're cobbling together a laser pointer or something using a laser diode that you pulled out of some electronics. Use a power supply the same as the thing you took it out of and the power will be the same as specified. If you say you're using a non-semiconductor laser, I don't believe you.
If you mean you're fabricating a laser diode from scratch, you're full of it. If you mean you're fabricating a gas laser from scratch, you're full of it.
