Laser Diode Part
How do I get the laser diode out of my laser pointer?
I've taken apart my laser pointer and now all thats left is part of the shell of the pointer and the laser diode that was jammed in it. I've tried pushing the diode out, but I'm afraid I'll break it. What can I do?
Also, if I should keep trying to push it out, should I push on the 3-prong end or the lens thing end?
most laser pointers have an LED in them. however, if you have a real one, what i would do is take a blunt object and push it through from the opening towards the back- something like a pen cap. the '3-prong' end are the leads, if you break them, its a real pain to resolder them back on.

Simulation of Ingan Blue Laser Diode $172.06 In this book, the design of InGaN LDs structures including multi quantum wells (MQWs) active region device are described and investigated by integrated system engineering technology computer aided design (ISE TCAD) device simulator. The parameters of the LDs structures are varied and optimized for high performance. PS3 diode failure?
So what is the main cause of these PS3s not reading/spinning any type disc?Some says that it was the blu-ray diode failure...is it true?So if someone change their PS3 whole laser part(with new blu-ray diode included),then it will be fixed?
Also,do you have any proof that the diode has something to do with the disc not spinning?i mean,the rotor inside the drive is the disc spinner,right?how come the diode can effect disc-spinning procedure?
I'm not having this problem so try not to urge me to send my console to sony.i just want to know the main cause...
If the disc is not spinning, then it's (most likely) problem with the motor, not the laser. Take it to the service.
