Big Interveiw For Beauty Industry Job Need Advise!?
I have been a licensed nail tech, estetician and make-up artist for ten years and I have finally landed an interveiw with a High End Medical Spa. I am meeting with the owner of the Spa and Cheif Finacial Officer to discuss paying for my laser training wich costs well over ten grand with room and bord and airfare. So What make-up look should I wear to show my skill but not over due it. I was thinking neutrals with a cut crease and a medium tone matt shade lipstick. I usually have interveiw attire down but this is a hudge interveiw for a beauty indistry job. I am thinking of wearing a Tuxedo like blazer a crisp white button shirt and a pair of taylored slacks with a slight silver thread throughout. Any advise on the overall look or other interveiw tips??? I really want this job so I am willing to work for it!
In your outfit you should keep it professional, but still show your creativity (perhaps with your favorite pair of earrings?) As for makeup, neutrals sound good. You can still show your makeup talent, no matter how subtle. Just show them how much you love your job and you'll do fine! Employers not only want to see the qualifications for a job but how much the individual is interested in it.
