In the last years, the employment of laser for more and more medical treatments has had an esponential growth. The effects of the laser radiation arent easily standardizable, because of dermatological differences showed from differents tissues. This indetermination influences the therapeutics results obtained, and, in the majority of cases, they are unsatisfactories. The scientific research in this field is addressed to study the dynamic of this interaction in order to allow to specialists to employ laser tool in a more controlled and less empiric way. Infrared imaging can be used for a realtime monitoring of the lasertissue interaction. This technique can give information about the reaction of the tissue in the specific region treated. In this study has been evaluated the employment of a novel approach based on this technology for the control and optimization of laser parameters in plane angioma therapy in order to make treatments safer and more efficient. The results obtained have demonstrated that IR imaging can be used in the laser therapy with remarkable advantages for optimizing procedure and parameters in different clinical situations. Can my new LCD HDTV interfere (infrared) with my laser mouse?
I'm using my TV as a computer display. I have a Logitech MX5000 bluetooth keyboard/laser mouse combo that was working great when using it in front of my older Samsung DLP HDTV. Now I've upgraded to an Aquos LCD HDTV and the mouse doesn't seem to work well (erratic, very slow cursor) when I'm seated in front of the display. I also noticed that my IR remote controls are tougher to get to work when the TV is on. Could all of this be infrared interference, and if so, is there a solution to the problem?
A lot of LCD panels cause interference with wireless devices such as mice and keyboards. Try moving the mouse or keyboard to a slightly different position. If that doesn't work, try a different kind of wireless device -- for example, something that uses RF, or a different frequency.
