can i run two speakers off my head unit instead of all 4? will that increase the power going to those two...?
speakers?
i have a truck. i hav a sub behind the passenger seat and a speaker behind the driver seat that is muffled badly. if i take the speaker out from behind my driver seat. would the lack of the two speakers from behind my seats increase the power being sent to my front speakers? thanks in advance
It depends on how you connected your speakers.
The information provided is not enough for me to give you a good answer. Do you have any amps in your system? Or are you running straight from the deck with a powered sub? If there are amps, how are they connected and what is their ratings as well as your speaker's? How many channels is each amp?
Here is the thing… in either way, you will not have a gain in power. Depending on your connections, you might either have the same power going to your front speakers, or actually a drop in power (RMS) to your front speakers if your front and rear speakers were all connected to 2 channels on an amplifier; in a 2 ohm load configuration.

a picture would be nice to have to see where the general idea is because i have search some say is on the driver side fender by the head light but thats not what its showing in the car
on some cars the voltage regulator is in the alternator the older cars had them on the fender under the hood.
