Greenlee Voltage
How do I measure Hertz with a multimeter?
I have a greenlee digital multimeter and a voltage converter/transformer that converts 220v to 110v but It doesn't say anything about being a dual frequency converter. So how would i use the multimeter to see if it's kicking out 50 or 60 Hertz.
I know that Frequency=1/t and that it depends how long you're measuring the peaks of the sinusoidal wave but I having a brainfart on exactly what to do with the meter reading different numbers in KHz. Thanks in advance for the answers.

Apparently your meter does measure frequency (not that uncommon now days) a kilohertz (kHz) is 1000 hertz, so 60 hertz is 0.060 kHz and, of course, 50Hz = 0.050kHz
