Electrical Apprentice, wanting to fill up toolbox.?

I'm not in the field as of yet, but I want to start buying tools here and there so that I'm ready to work when the time comes. It seems like everyone that I work with uses Klein Tools, is this the best of the best.. has to be a reason why so many people own klein.. big problem is that they're so expensive.. is it worth it (talking about screwdrivers, nut drivers, pliers)?

Are there any other brands that are as good, but cost less?

Another question, how are greenlee handtools compared to klein.. they appear to very similar (besides the color).. which if they are, I might go that route since my tools won't be confused with everyone else's kleins.

Lowe's has brought a new line recently called Kobalt.And I'll tell you.For the money they are awesome hand tools.I am a professional too so I use the heck out of my tools.You won't find all you need as an electricain in this line.But they do make a lot of them. Good Luck.

You need to call Customer Support @ 1-800-435-0786 for return address. The return policy is as follows;

"Goods manufactured by Greenlee Textron will be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of one year from the date of user purchase, provided such goods are installed, operated, used and maintained in accordance with Greenlee's written instructions.

Proof of Purchase will no longer be required for serial numbered tools if the tool was manufactured within eighteen months prior to the time service is required.

All other tools without serial numbers will be free of defects in workmanship and material for twelve months from date of purchase, but will require Proof of Purchase."
