Which M4A3 Carbine Should I Buy?
I am looking at a couple different M4A3 Carbine rifles... I found specifically a Bushmaster M4A4 Light, and a decked out Rock River M4A3 (has 4 rail handgaurd, flashlight, red/green laser marker, and a HUD scope) both were about 900 or so... My friend says that the Rock River guns are JUNK, and i should stick with the Bushmaster and just buy the accesories i want... Is he right? I cant find ANY links for compairison... HELP!
I would like to see the RRA. With all the acessories you stated there is no way it's only $900. Can you provide a link?
And your friend is an idiot. RRA has had major government contracts, and I'm sure it wasn't one of those "lowest bidder" jobs the U.S. government is notorious for.
Bushmaster, despite what those who can afford Les Baer and other expensive custom AR's say about a "working man's" AR. My Bushmaster in 6.8mm SPC hasn't given me 1 bit of trouble after 1200 rounds and 6 cleanings.
If you can, rent both first. And then make your decision.

Yeah, I know all about buying on ebay from Hong Kong. DON'T !!!!! I bought what I thought was a World War II souvenir Samurai sword that had been the property of a Japanese officer. It was advertised as a World War II sword. It seemed like a very good price for such a sword so I bid on it and got it. When it came, I opened it with great expectation and found a cheap piece of crap that MAY have been made during the war but was not a sword that would have been carried by a Japanese officer. Suddenly, they did not speak English. Numerous communications went unanswered and I still have that piece of junk. Forget dealing with Hong Kong because if something goes wrong, suddenly no one speaks English and you can get no help. If anything goes wrong with your Chinese laser, who do you think is going to have parts for it? Where will you get warranty work done on it? If you have to send it back to Hong Kong, the shipping will cost more than the laser is worth. Screw Hong Kong!! Buy locally. You have been warned.
