Green Laser Mounted

laser sight in the day time?

I'm looking to put a cheap laser sight one one of my rifles, picatinny mounted. Think you could see a green laser on a sheet of paper in the day time at 25 yards? Or farther if looking though a scope?

Green and red will be hard to see in the day light, but at 100 meters or less you should be ok.... nothing beats black in the daylight...black against the white sky is the best, I would take the green scope you have here over any red I will say... so give it a try.

Will mounting a laser on my gun mess it up?

I have a 50mw green laser. If I mount it on a gun, will it mess it up or throw the lenses out of alighnment? More specifically, will a painball gun and an .22 that are both full-auto.

A paintball gun would be completely inappropriate since your targets are generally other people and you can cause retina damage with a 50 mW green laser.
