I just bought a laser module from ebay and it does not come with the lenses. Where can i buy lenses that focus 50 mw green laser? Best answer for link that sells lenses

But, of course, what lens you get depends on what you want to do with it. My guess is these are all overkill for your application, where a child's magnifying glass would work just fine. Focusing a laser beam is trivial. But if you want a certain spot size, or you want to columnate it, or do something fancier like that, then you need to know what you are doing.

Green laser brightness question best answer wins?

Some sites say green are 20x,30x,50x, or 60x brighter than red. Which one is true... and any good 50 mw modules out there? links, sites?

I would say it is more like 10x, but it depends on the exact colors of green and red you are talking about. The issue is not related to lasers, but to the human eye. We see green better than we see red. For example, look here:

So given a light source with the same amount of power (say 5 mW), a green light will look brighter than a red one.

Of course, green laser pointers are often easier to make more powerful than red ones. This is not strictly true for all lasers, but it is generally true for the types of lasers used in laser pointers. So a 50 mW green laser will look much brighter than a 5 mW red pointer, because it has 10 times the power and your eye is 10 times more sensitive to that color.
